I have not been spared. There is a lot of talk about dreamwidth, so much that I got curious. I went to check it out and...I don't know. I like that there are no advertisements and it's geared towards fans of fandom. Oh and I also like their cross-posting feature - in case you have more than one journal to manage *raises hand*
Problems I have so far about DW is that in order to open an account you have to have an invite code or is willing to subscribe for a paid account. No, I didn't open an account. I'm hoping to be either invited or I also heard that you will get an invite code if you create an OpenID account. I don't know if that's true or not, but I'm willing to give it a try.
I already have an Insanejournal and this journal. I don't think I need another journal, but I really really like it's x-posting ability. I suppose it's good to have a back up of a back up...

thoughtfulAbout two months ago, I've finished reading the first two books of the Twilight series. I've talked to my friends about the book and from there we went onto the topics of vampires, and from there we moved onto Angel and Spike. To make a long story short...I'm almost wondering if I could pull a one-shot fic and pitch Angel/Spike against the vampires in Twilight, or how they would respond to vampires, whom don't have a soul, yet try to do the right thing anyways...
"That's a bunch of bullocks!" snapped Spike. "There shouldn't be pansy vampires out there in the world. It'll put the rest of us to shame, like Dracula. Hell would freeze over before I admit those types of vamps exist."
"Well, you once told me that there's a 'frozen hell' before," said Angel.
*sigh* One fic at a time. I'll ,maybe, revisit this plot bunny again once I'm done with my other monster fic.

So as I was updating my user info, I glanced down at all the communities I've joined and decided to join one other that I've heard about.

nekid_spike (better late than never). I'm hoping to x-post my fic On the Right Path there as well. Other thing I'm considering of doing while I'm at this, is to find some icons for this journal. Could you believe that I do NOT have a single spike, angel, or spangel icon. - _ -; That will have to be fixed.- Mood:

contentSo, what have I been up to now? Well I have three fics that I'm currently working on.
1) AU Kurogane/Fai fic, which I've already written ~5,000 words and haven't put a dent on the story. With my luck this fic will be another long one.
2) Lupin/Snape fic Titled: Soul Catcher. Yes, it's been a WIP since last year and was placed on the back-burner since I have to focus on graduating. Now that I'm done with school, I would like to finish that fic. I know I have a couple of people waiting for me to finish and I feel bad for having them wait.
3) Angel/Spike fic. I've just started. For some reason a mean old plot bunny bit me in the arse and I cannot get rid of it; so instead of fighting it, I'll cave and write and see where it'll lead me. Lately I've been re-watching the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Angel series and re-fell in love with Angel/Spike all over again. I know...I'm a lost cause. Once I'm in a fandom I'll always be in the same fandom even after - what - 4 years *facepalm*
